Other than dawning a flirty cotton dress, it's safe to say this
preppy look wholeheartedly defines how I prefer to dress in the spring and summer. It's easy, casual, and fun. The attire was perfect for some R&R in the Lakes Region of
New Hampshire with my family. And the roadtrip up there was an ideal excuse to blast new
Death Cab for Cutie and
Foster the People - two bands I can't get enough of lately.

Tres chic !! I'm with you, casual just feels oh so good sometimes. My life is mainly weekday work and weekend play so I feel like I font dress this way enough.
Your outfit looks incredibly comfortable. I love stripes. Although I think I own too many items with strips, I really WANT that top. Is it current at Old Navy? If not, wanna swap it for something of mine (I promise I'll give it back) ;)
